Sychrov Chateau

Built in a baroque style by French Rohan family, the Sychrov chateau is one of the most visited places in Liberec region. There are guided tours in various language which will walk you through the chateau. The building and its interiors are well maintained.

I highly recommend visiting Sychrov Chateau when you are in this region. Do not forget to walk through their gardens and reach the orangery to cool down with their refreshing lemonade.

Jilemnice Chateau

The Jilemnice Chateau is present in the same name town- Jilemnice town. Today, this chateau is converted into a museum – Krkonoše Museum – displaying some of the finest linen yarn and old but rich furnishers, cutleries etc.

There is a small but interesting skiing

Just a few blocks from this Chateau, there is a ‘Curious street‘.

Curious to know what is it? All of the residents along this street have built their houses in such way that one corner window is a bit forward on the street so that they can look on to the main square down the street. And hence the name. 🙂 Well, the curiosity kills the cat but no one got killed here.
